"Everything has gone absolutely fantastic - we have been very happy with the work you have done for us. From the quotation - level of information - precision and punctuality - your foresight when a strike suddenly broke out in France - to the final delivery in Madrid, where we have moved permanently."

"Unbeatable move from Cambridge, England to Copenhagen. Everything was packed and moved with the utmost care and professionalism. In addition, Torben is always nice and friendly to talk to and is a man you can trust. I would give Torben and his company 6 out of 5 stars if I could, and would highly recommend him to anyone moving within the EU."

It's important to be aware that there are legal matters that should also be considered when moving to Spain.
First and foremost, you must register as an expatriate in the Danish CPR register if you are staying abroad for a longer period of time. If you move to Spain, you are not automatically covered by Spanish or Danish health insurance. Therefore, you should bring an EU health insurance card with you. The Spanish health insurance (Seguridad Social) is mandatory for employees and the self-employed, but the rules are not the same as in Denmark. It is therefore important to check up on this.
As an EU citizen, you generally have a work permit in all EU countries, so it's not something you need to apply for. However, you only have the right to reside in Spain for up to 3 months before you have to register with the Spanish authorities.
When the supplier makes an offer, it is based on an assessment of the job as a whole, so it is important that the customer provides as much information as possible. This means asking questions such as: How much furniture is involved? What kind of contents? Are there any special circumstances that need to be taken into account? Anything exceptionally heavy? Should the items be collected/placed in a house or on the 6th floor of an office? What is the time schedule?
Timing is especially important because there's a lot of planning and legwork involved in an international move. And the longer the timeline, the more opportunity the supplier has to cut the cost of completing the job and provide a better price for you, the customer.
If you have any questions or need a quote for your moving project, we are of course ready to guide and advise you.
